When Hissho Sushi, a rapidly growing sushi retailer with over 200 locations in 17 states, was threatened with a lawsuit initiated by a California based competitor, a sushi retailer with approximately 2000 locations in more than 40 states, The Helfing Law Firm was called upon to stand up for Hissho Sushi’s interests. In a David versus Goliath story, The Helfing Law Firm successfully defended Hissho Sushi from allegations of interference with contractual relations and unfair trade practices by the competitor who was represented by a large law firm with national and international offices. Hissho Sushi was not practicing unfairly but was instead following the American dream by winning market share through a better product and better service.
